On your Mark, Get Set, Go

This is my DD at her 8th grade track meet back in 2001 and I'm following a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. This was a bit of a challenge to do the page in horizontal stripes, but I managed to come up with this. Used several misc papers in orange, yellow and red, cut the words-title form cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook and used chipboard letters for all the first letters and painted them in a bright green. All the stars were cut from Gypsy Wandering cartridge with yellow buttons and gold string tied on them.
