Here is my Design Team take over at Sketch Along Tuesday at Frosted Designs for July 28th titled Scooby Do and Shaggy Too.. This is a photo of my son and daughter and their two new friends at Universal Studios taken back in 2005 when we were on a family vacation. If you look closely- my son has a look a like--it's Shaggy himself! This was just so funny when we ran into them- because they did kinda look alike and they had similar clothing on that day-too!
Here is the sketch we worked with designed by Libeeti at Frosted Designs
Materials used for this layout: Lots of plain color cardstock in brown-forest green-,mint green and white
I challenged myself to not use patterned paper on a layout and thought this one was a good one to try this out on- not to distract from the picture. I used my Cuttlebug and circle pattern folder for all the embossed square areas and a sanding block and inks to distress the embossed papers. Martha Stewart cookie alphabet stamps which I used pink acrylic paint on to stamp the letters and then outlined them in white acrylic paint. One chipboard felt letter "S" which I tied a ribbon onto and added some stickles also. One big metal blue button/brad and some brown polka dot ribbon.
