This is my take for Creative Scrappers Sketch #141 this week -and I might say it was a bit different than I'm use to doing. So it took me awhile to figure out the papers and what embellishments I wanted to use for this. So here it is...The background paper is by We R Memory Keepers and the others are all from my stash that I either inked with black or used my embossing folders and Cuttlebug, then sanded or inked. I stamped my flowers with black on white cardstock and hand cut out and used pop dots to give it more dimension ,added a bit of diamondStickles to the center of the flowers, too. I used a cream gross grain ribbon and stamped the title in black ink. I didn't want the embellishments to get lost, so I made them all black and white- since the papers were so colorful already. I pretty much stayed with the sketch on this one this week.

Love your color palette and the way you handled the sketch! I thought it was a tricky one, too, and haven't even attempted it!
ReplyDeleteGreat Page! I love how the colors all work together! I love all the textures and also how you stamped on the ribbon:)
