Here is my layout with Birds for the challenge over at Frosted Designs this week. Another page for one of my kids scrapbooks of their Great Grandmother who passed away when they were all very young under the age of 6- so they probably don't remember her to well if at all. So I thought I would do each of them a page of her to remember. And she liked the color yellow and loved her birds so this is fitting for this layout.
I used my Gypsy and did several Cricut cuts from Serenade cartridge in black and grey cardstock and then used some of my handmade crocheted doiley flowers with rhinestones added to the centers. I made a banner with her name "FLO" and added a tri-color ribbon. All papers were from the Recollections value Stack

I have finished all 102 wedding/reception invites for my daughter- which we will be addressing the envelopes today as I speak. I had to come up with something simple since I was making so many of them and her theme is Meant to Bee..so this is what I did which was alot of work cutting, punching, inking, tieing and stamping- but I enjoyed every hour of it.
I printed the inside/ and rsvp card on my computer- I was orginally going to hand write them - but decided against that- so glad I did- or I would still be working on them..lol She is getting married In Jamaica in April and then having a relaxed and casual reception back at home at the end of May and this is the invite for that day.

I am almost finished with 2007 pictures for all the 8 books I'm working on Yeah cant wait to start another year . So here is a page of my mother and her 4 only grandchildren ( my 4). We were actually all together this year- which doesn't happen to often since everyone is so scattered. My mom is from Arkansas, oldest daughter in Southern Illinois going to college, a daughter lives in Las Vegas and the two boys - one lives with theri father an hour away and the youngest is still at home with me and in high school- So this was a special Holiday this year when everyone came HOME.
There was so much unwanted space on the bottom picture so I hand cut around them all and really liked how I layed out this page with each child in the same spot as the bottom photo. This special page is for my scrapbook, and I will make another one for my mother- if she wants one..but she doesn't have a scrapbook.
My kids all get their tall gene from there father and I get the short gen from my mother---lol
Papers used: Memory Box background, K&Company borders (evergreens) cut up and placed in areas of page, Red Vellum by Webster Pages, I painted the mats with white acrylics, inked edges, Cricut cuts from Heritage on white cs and sprayed with Candy Apple red -Tattered Angel Mist, , added stickles to title and made red berries on the branchesThere was so much unwanted space on the bottom picture so I hand cut around them all and really liked how I layed out this page with each child in the same spot as the bottom photo. This special page is for my scrapbook, and I will make another one for my mother- if she wants one..but she doesn't have a scrapbook.
