The Studio Challenge this week...

Here is my take on this great sketch over at The Studio challenge blog site- I love circles they always catch my eye when looking at sketches. This is a summer layout of a few misc small pictures I found from 2003 of my kids doing a variety of summer activities while in Michigan visiting for the holiday during the fourth of July.

 Materials used: White cardstock, an older glossy tile patterned paper, polka dot paper,a striped ribbon, circle cutter, circle punches, vellum in light blue and white, vellum tape, pop dots, and misc sticker alphas. Also I embossed the white circle cut with fiskars woodgrain template to look like water. I gathered the ribbon to give it a ripple effect like waves and added the vellum circles to appear as bubbles of water.
